What is iTunesU?
iTunesU is a free service for colleges and universities that provides 24-hour access to educational
content. This easily downloaded content includes lecture and seminar recordings, student assignments, as well as
other instructor and student-generated material. The service is completely cross-platform for Windows PC
or Mac. iTunesU supports many file formats, including mp3, wav, aiff, Apple Lossless, aac audio, and mp4 video.

Will I have to pay to access Valencia on iTunesU?
No. You may freely preview and download all of the content from Valencia on iTunes U.

Do I need to have an iPod or a Mac to use iTunesU?
No. The iTunes audio will be in mp3 format, and will be compatible with any mp3 player. In fact, you do not have
to own an mp3 player at all. Any course material can also be listened to or viewed from a PC or a Mac. MP3 players
simply provide a way to leave the computer behind and make the iTunesU content portable.

How do I access Valencia iTunesU?
First, make sure that you have the most current version of the iTunes software installed on your PC or Mac. To download
the application, click on the "iTunes Download" link on this page,
or visit http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ .
Next, go to the Home page and log in. If you are a Valencia student or faculty, select the "VCC Login" button and log in
using your Atlas username and password. If you are a member of the general public, select the "Public Access" button.

Can Students contribute to Valencia’s iTunesU?
Only if you are enrolled in a course that requires submission of videos, audio files, or documents to a Valencia iTunesU course (for example a speech video submission).
